Paris Saint-Germain are talking with RB Leipzig about signing Ivory Coast forward Yan Diomande, a source close to the situation told AFP.

The 19-year-old has informed the German team that he wants to move to the French club. The two teams began talks after Diomande, who has a contract with Leipzig until 2030, told PSG management he was “very keen” to join the reigning European champions this summer, the source added.

If Diomande joins PSG, it would likely mean that Portuguese forward Goncalo Ramos will leave for AC Milan. PSG has reportedly reached an agreement with the Italian club, according to the source.

Diomande was born in Abidjan. He spent a few months in 2025 at Spanish club Leganes, then in La Liga. He has played for Leipzig for one season and scored 12 goals in the Bundesliga.

His move would be PSG’s first big signing of this summer transfer window. Diomande is also preparing for the Ivory Coast’s World Cup last 32 match against Norway on Tuesday.

The deal for Ramos is estimated at around 74 million euros ($84 million) but could increase to 90 million euros with bonuses, the source said. The club did not respond when AFP reached out for comments.

Ramos has been at PSG for three years, winning three French league titles, two domestic cups, and two Champions League trophies.

He joined the French team from Benfica but struggled to become a regular starter under Spanish coach Luis Enrique. He often played behind Kylian Mbappe and later Ousmane Dembele.

This season, he did not start any Champions League matches for PSG. Still, his contributions off the bench have been significant, with 45 goals in 131 matches across all competitions in three seasons.
