Barcelona Interested in Harry Kane as Lewandowski Heads to MLS

Spanish club Barcelona has reached out to Harry Kane’s agents. They are looking into a possible move for the Bayern Munich striker.

Reports from the Daily Mail, as well as Sky Sports and ESPN on Monday, say that Barcelona plans to review Kane’s situation after the World Cup. They want to strengthen their attack.

The England team captain, who is 32 years old, has one year left on his Bayern Munich contract.

Kane is not actively trying to leave the Bundesliga champions. But Barcelona is ready to pursue a deal if the chance comes up.

Kane is one of many attacking players that Barcelona is considering as they make future plans.

There are also reports that Barcelona is interested in Junior Kroupi from AFC Bournemouth as another option. They are looking at him alongside Julián Álvarez from Atlético Madrid.

In addition, Mundo Deportivo reports that Dusan Vlahovic could be another option for Barcelona.

The Juventus striker is said to be available on a free transfer. He could step in as a replacement if Ferran Torres decides to leave the club.

Barcelona’s search for new attacking players comes as former striker Robert Lewandowski gets closer to a move to Major League Soccer.

A source told ESPN that Lewandowski is wrapping up a deal with Chicago Fire FC. This move would see him join the MLS team this summer.
