Access Holdings Plc has announced that Bolaji Agbede will retire as Executive Director, Business Support, effective 30 June. This comes after her term ended.
Ms Agbede worked with the Access Group for over twenty years. She made important contributions to its growth and change, the group said in a regulatory filing on Thursday.
Access Holdings noted that she also played a key role in the group’s development in various leadership positions during her time there.
“The Board expresses its deep appreciation for her dedicated service and great leadership,” the group said.
Access Holdings mentioned that Ms Agbede showed strong leadership as Acting Group Chief Executive Officer after the sad passing of the former Group Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe, in February 2024.
The group said that during a tough time in its history, she showed great professionalism, stability, and commitment.
Access Holdings praised the executive director for helping to keep leadership steady and business performance strong.
“The Board thanks Ms Agbede for her valuable contributions to the Group and wishes her success and happiness in all her future plans,” Access Holdings said.
