Germany, known for scoring a lot of goals, will face a strong Ivory Coast team at the World Cup on Saturday. The winner of this match will secure a spot in the last 32 teams. Sweden also has a chance to qualify.

The three teams could join the co-hosts, the United States and Mexico, who have already made it through.

Germany crushed debutants Curacao 7-1 in their first match. If they beat Ivory Coast in Toronto and Ecuador does not win against Curacao in Kansas City, they will be confirmed as the winners of Group E.

For Germany, moving to the knockout rounds would be a big relief. They have not reached that stage since their last World Cup win in Brazil in 2014.

Ivory Coast also has a chance to secure their place in the next round if they manage to beat Germany. Coach Julian Nagelsmann knows his team needs to be ready for the speed of the Ivorian players.

"Their speed is one of their biggest strengths and that’s what I think they do best," he said to reporters. He pointed out Nicolas Pepe, the French-born Ivorian winger.

"During the last game, he was everywhere," Nagelsmann added about Pepe.

Meanwhile, Sweden will take on the Netherlands in Houston. A win will guarantee them a spot in the knockout stages. This is a remarkable change for the Swedish team, who only qualified for the World Cup through the Nations League.

Coach Graham Potter spoke about Sweden's striker, Alexander Isak. He said Isak will only get "stronger and stronger" as the tournament goes on.

Isak had a tough season, facing many injuries after Liverpool paid Newcastle United a record £125 million (about $165 million) for him. But he started the World Cup on a high note, scoring one goal and setting up two more in their 5-1 win against Tunisia.

"Alex has had a season that has been interrupted," Potter explained. "Most football players would say they need a certain amount of time and games to get up to top level, so we’ve had to try to build Alex up. I think there’s more to come from him."
